ABOUT US
Franklin County Senior Citizens Council is a 501c3 whose purpose is to contribute to the welfare and improvement of the Franklin County Community, and especially its Senior Citizens. The Franklin County Senior Citizens Council maintains a senior center located in Carrabelle. The Franklin County Senior Citizens Center provides recreational, educational and wellness activities for those age 50 and older. It is open every weekday from 12:00-5:00 pm for games, billiards, ping pong, reading, 60" TV, and free WiFI. The center also serves a weekly lunch special Thursdays starting at 12:00 pm for just $10, which includes a drink and dessert. Meals go fast so come early! This meal is available to the public. Check our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/fcscenter, for this week’s menu. The center is closed on Saturday & Sunday.

The center is a 6800 square foot building with a commercial kitchen located on a large grassy lot directly across from Tillie Miller City Park. This center is available for use by partner and outside groups for social gatherings, including games, clubs, yoga, exercise classes, community events, and Carrabelle Art Association meetings. This facility is available for event rental by the public. There is no age requirement for rental of the facility. Give us a call for more information!

The Franklin County Senior Citizen's Council was incorporated in
Carrabelle in 1975.
This is their 50th Anniversary!
The current members of the Senior Center cordially invite anyone who has a recent or long-ago association with the Center to come to their celebration on Thursday, November 20th. There are scrapbooks of photos and plaques commemorating past accomplishments at the Center. Memories will be shared!
The celebration will take place at the Thursday lunch on November 20th, served at the Center at 12:00 noon.
It will be a Thanksgiving Feast for
$10 / person.
